Basketball Team Practice

Our Program

DMV Dream Hoops is a structured basketball development program for grades 4–8, proudly hosted at Rogers Heights Elementary School. Each session begins with academic enrichment using PathwayED at 5:00 PM, followed by focused basketball training from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This approach supports the whole athlete by reinforcing discipline, accountability, and growth both in the classroom and on the court

What Sets Our Training Apart

Hard Work Should Lead to Real Progress

Many basketball programs keep athletes busy, but few clearly show development. Players work hard, run drills, and compete—yet parents are often left wondering how that training translates to real improvement on the court.

Too often, there is:

  • No clear skill focus

  • No consistent feedback

  • No way to track growth over time

At DMV Dream Hoops, we believe training should be intentional. Every session should have a purpose, a focus, and a clear connection to game performance.

Measurable Skill Progress

We track development and provide monthly performance feedback so families can see real improvement over time. Athletes receive clear focus areas to guide their next phase of training.

Game Understanding & Decision Making

Players are taught how to read the game, move without the ball, and make smart decisions under pressure. Training goes beyond drills and focuses on real basketball situations.

Personalized Coach Guidance

Athletes and parents receive coach feedback, including video review opportunities, to better understand strengths and growth areas. This helps create clear goals and faster improvement.
